Bootie Booty!

Hello and Happy Monday, GFs!  So it’s no secret that as soon as the hint of Fall is in the air, we go crazy over blanket scarves, chunky knits, and footwear!  And when I think Fall footwear, booties immediately come to mind.    I have no qualms with investing in staple pieces, especially boots and shoes, but sometimes, a girl wants lots and lots of pairs and when this occurs… you turn to Forever 21 for all of your shoe needs!  All of these are under $35 and may I say, Oh So Cute!  I’ll take one of each please 🙂  Have a great week and Happy Shopping, xo!

Feeling Leggy with White Plum!

Hello loves and Happy Humpday!  I am so excited to be partnering up with the fabulous team over at White Plum to promote their legging campaign!  Leggings are a girl’s best friend; especially in the fall when cozy layers, tunics and blanket scarves are our go-to attire! First, let me say, I am a bit of a legging snob.  I cannot stand it when leggings are made for a small child but yet are in the women’s section.  SO irritating! I personally love high-waisted leggings that are snug but not too tight, and keep the tummy area in check! And that is exactly what I got with these fun printed and super soft leggings from White Plum!  I’m also leery of items that are ‘one size fits all’ but again, to my pleasant surprise, these fit wonderfully.  They are made well and are great quality, which allows them to form and shape to all different sizes 🙂  And because these are too good not to share, use the code SABBYSTYLE to take 20% off your order at White Plum!

And as if you need another reason to shop at White Plum, they have a company policy and mission I can get behind.  They have found that the way to succeed as a business is to help their customers succeed; ” The best deal for you, is the best deal for us.”  Now that is a business I want to support!

Leggings: White Plum ℅ | Sweater: Forever21 | Mocassin Wedges: Target (old) but cute options herehere and here! | Sunnies: Aldo (old) but darling pairs here and here! | Necklace: Gifted but love this one and this beauty!

Make sure you come back on Friday to see how I styled another pair of fabulous leggings! Have a great day and lots of love to you all!

Heyyy girl heyyyy and a lovely Monday to you!  I hope everyone had an awesome weekend and that it was long and slow, because we know how fast it goes by 😦  I am going to toot my own horn, and my amazing company’s horn, too, because ya’ll… we built a playground on Saturday! Like legitimately built a 60 x 40 ft playground, poured over 20,000 pounds of concrete and pushed and shoveled over 170 cubic square feet of mulch!  It was an intense few days and a lot of early rising, which if you know me, you know I am notttt a morning person, but I am so grateful to have been a part of it and I am in awe of what can be accomplished when 300 people come together to bring play and happiness to hundreds of children for many years to come!

It was a long, but awesome weekend and I am ready to get back to a normal routine and normal hours! On that note, I plan on wearing this little chevron number to work this week 🙂  So let’s talk about just how great this chevron blouse is.  Our World Boutique so generously sent me this top and I am so happy to be sharing it with all of you!  Plus, use the code SABBY25 to take 25% off over at their website!  They have SO many darling items, I am positive you will find something that you love!

Hello ladies and happy Thursday!  Today I am sharing with you the most darling navy and white striped top from Our World Boutique and a bright and cheery necklace, to boot! As much as I love fall layers and thick, cozy fabrics, last Saturday was a gorgeous warm and sunny day, so I knew it was just the right time to debut my new shoes and a light-weight, easy-does-it, outfit!  And guess what?!?…. Use the code SABBY25 to take 25% off your order at Our World Boutique! And it expires at Midnight on Monday, September 22nd, which means you have have plenty of time to shop til yo drop! 🙂

…. Patience is a Virtue…. and it paid off when I finally made these Sole Society heels mine, all mine!  I saw them on my girl Kate Blue and she wore them so effortlessly! I almost pulled the trigger lots and lots of times, but was trying to be good and convinced myself time and time again that I did not need another pair of nude heels!  But then alas, over Labor Day weekend, they went on sale! Like major sale.   Like under $24.00 and free shipping and no sales tax.  Yeah, it was a very hefty fashion victory!  And I’m sporting yet another pair of American Eagle jeggings (high-rise) with this look and let me just apologize in advance because I will be living in all (….7 pairs) this Fall and Winter!

Be The Good!

Hello lovely friends and happy Monday!  I know, I know, those words don’t usually go together, but it is definitely a happy Monday because I am so thankful and excited to be a part of a great cause!

I have been challenged by and Cents of Style to #BeTheGood. Challenge accepted! What an awesome opportunity to do something, big or small, for another person. Through this challenge I chose to donate to a cause that is near and dear to my heart – Dog Rescue and Adoption!

Why this charitable act you may ask? Well first and foremost, we rescued our youngest pup, Roger, in December of 2009 and our lives were forever changed by this little fluff ball. At only 5 months old, Roger had already seen two homes and had been surrendered twice. How anyone could give up that sweet face is beyond me, but I am so thankful they had the foresight to realize they could not properly care for him and knew surrendering him was the right move, in the hopes that he would find his furrrrever family.

This cause has two parts that are critical for all to understand. And without being too graphic, it is completely and utterly sickening the kind of animal abuse and cruelty that takes place in our society.  From dog fighting and then using smaller breeds as ‘practice’ and bait for larger dogs, makes me cry. WE need to speak up and let our voices be heard because those poor animals, who love their owners unconditionally not matter how they are treated, cannot speak for themselves. We must be their advocates and spread awareness about this inhumane treatment of living and breathing things. Do not look the other way to this kind of horrific behavior. Please PLEASE report any kind of questionable acts. You never know what life you may be saving!

What happens to these animals that have been abused and treated in unthinkable ways? They (hopefully) find their way to a rescue group or shelter, if not euthanized. These AMAZING organizations rehabilitate the animals and get them the medical treatment they so desperately need. It kills me and breaks my soul when I see and hear of many people going to pet shops to purchase animals, especially cats and dogs. There are so many animals that would make purrrrfect pets and they are readily available in large quantities through your local shelter!

We rescued Roger from Little White Dog Rescue and it was truly a wonderful experience. I took comfort in their intense screening and application process, to ensure their dogs were going to homes that would provide the love, care, and kindness they so much deserve. Making a donation in exchange for Roger was by far the easiest $$$ I’ve ever shelled out because I was paying it forward! My donation to LWDR helped pay for surgeries, treatment, Dr.’s visits, medicine, grooming, food, and other miscellaneous costs (that add up quite quickly) for other dogs that were waiting to be placed with their forever family.

I challenge all of you to take a part in this movement and spread goodness throughout! I also personally challenge Amy from My Soapbox Moment and Michelle from Adventure Culture! Good luck my friends… you have 24hrs to complete a service or act of kindness. See below for details:

  1. Choose a good deed. Could be as simple as paying for the coffee after yours.
  2. Share your goods. Pick your favorite social channel (Facebook, Instagram, Vine, Twitter, etc.), but first, make sure to take a selfie (or something appropriate to your story), and share your story, big or small. Be sure to use these hashtags to help this campaign spread: #BeTheGood #JaneCares and #CentsofStyle. You’ll see your story featured at
  3. Tag 1-5 of your friends to do the same within a 24 hr period.
  4. Look stylish while doing it!com and Cents of Style are selling some super cute #BeTheGood t-shirts on All profits made will be donated to Girls Inc. an organization that inspires girls to be strong, smart and bold.

Thank you for swinging by SabbyStyle today and always BE THE GOOD!

A ‘Bright’ Fall Ahead!

Hello lovies and happy Saturday!  So you don’t have to ask me twice if I am ready for fall cozy layers, cute booties, distressed jeans, infinity scarves, and utility vests…. because I SO am! In fact, the past two days have been in the mid-50’s and I was able to dress the part!  That being said, it is no secret that I love color! And just because we are saying goodbye to summer, doesn’t mean that we have to say goodbye to bright hues and lovely color palettes.  I think jewel tones and earthy vibes can be pure genius and reflect the leaves falling and the changing of seasons, but I cannot leave behind my penchant for print mixing, color pairing, and adding a lovely floral, or two!  So today I am sharing some darling Fall items that will be sure to brighten up you day!A 'Bright' Fall Ahead

Finding MY way + Friday Frills

Helloooo galpals and happy, happy Friday!  I don’t know about you, but I am SO ready for the weekend.  LIke whoa.  I have zero plans and I secretly love it!  I plan on watching the Husker game, walking my pups, busting out the Fall decor, stopping by Bath & Body to pick up some new candles, and shooting some bloggy pics!

About those blog pics… I have been on the struggle bus, as of late!  I absolutely love my new camera and it shoots some pretty amazing pics.  When I first got it, we used a certain setting that I really liked and the pictures turned out so good.  Put my sweet little iPhone to shame.  I was so eager to learn more and achieve that uber professional look with my own camera, and not-so-professional photographer, T-rizz!  Well that pressure to achieve the most picture-perfect image like the many super chic and fabulous bloggers I follow and look up to, made me feel less and less enthused and excited to shoot my own great looks.  I’m not good with the ‘learning curve’.  Whether it be in my professional or personal life, I like to know it all right away so I can do my very best from day 1.  So this whole ‘try it out‘ and ‘see what you like best‘ and ‘play around with it and you’ll figure it out‘ makes me really frustrated!  I so wish I had the time to spend hours upon hours devoted to blogging, learning the ins and outs of my camera, shooting amazing photos and the list goes on and on.  But I don’t.  And that irks me beyond belief because I love blogging.  I love SabbyStyle!  I love all of you!  I feel like every decision, experience and relationship has culminated to this time in my life and I am right where I am suppose to be!

So to make a long story short and to sum up a few weeks of feeling down and out, I’ve decided to focus on what I can do and what I enjoy doing.  And that is putting on cute looks, headed somewhere close by aka the backyard or park, and having Tony take my photos.  They aren’t super great, but their ours and we are learning.  It is my hope that my pictures and blog continue to improve as I expand my abilities, capacities and camera knowledge!  So that being said, stay tuned for some fun new pics that are completely Sara and know that I am trying to be the best blogger/mentor/friend I can possibly be through this all!

Now let’s get to my two favorite ‘F’ wordsFRIDAY FRILLS LINK-UP!

This week’s featured blogger is the super chic and fabulous, Nicole from Nicole to the Nines!  We absolutely LOVED her genius print mixing of stripe and floral pieces!  The black and white top pairs flawlessly with her floral skirt and the pop of pink is so great!
