Denim + Denim with Sira&Mara!

Hello lovelies and happy Wednesday!  I don’t know about you gals, but one can never have tooooo many chambray shirts, am I right? Right.  And today I am trying my hand at the denim on denim look! I must be honest, I tried it once before in a blog post a few weeks back and I was not. a. fan.  Don’t get me wrong, I loved all of the individual pieces I was wearing, but once I started editing the photos, I kinda was not feeling it.  That being said, when my girl Sandy wanted to do one style/two ways and mentioned doing denim on denim, I said HECK YES, lets try that one again 🙂 And I must say, that this time around, I was digging it! I like the light colored chambray paired with the darker distressed jeans and a bit of jazzy jewelry to make it pop, and make it a bit more SabbyStyle!

Denim: American Eagle | Chambray: Old Navy | Wedges: Zigi Soho | Necklace: Poppy Gems ℅ (code Sara15) | Baroque Bracelet: Sira&Mara ℅ | Sunnies: Aldo (old) but great options here, here, and here | Earrings: Shop Fabulessly ℅ (code SARA20)

Now can we talk about just how freakin’ fierce and fabulous Sandy, the brains and beauty behind Sira&Mara jewelry company and the Style Pledge Blog, looks in her ensem?!  Though we are both sporting denim on denim, these classic pieces can be styled in SO many different ways; the possibilities are endless!

I love love love collaborating because blogging is so much better when you do it with friends, so if you ever have an idea, don’t hesitate to shoot it my way! You can find my blog email under the Partnerships tab!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

    • Okay, so I know exactly what you mean. I love the distressed denim look but every time I tried to wear a pair, I felt weird and I felt like they made my legs look bigger because the rips and holes stuck out a bit. Anywho, I’m clearly over that now 🙂 And I really do like the fit of AE jeggings! I say just take the plunge and rock them like it ain’t no thang, xo!

  2. I have a top jus like this, but would it look okay if I paired it with dark denim? I always feel strange pairing 2 different denims together.
