Hola GF’s and happy Sunday!  I know what you’re thinking, Sara, a Sunday blog post?  That is unusual… what is the special occasion???  Well…. I am so excited to announce that my favorite store and the host of our #girlsnightomaha events, Four Sisters Boutique, is launching their online site today!  So many of my most popular Instagram posts and Girls Night Omaha event outfits include at least one piece from FSB and everyone always asks, how do I order this, can I call the store to order, and when can I get this online?!  Well wait no longer because I’m so happy to say that the day is finally here and they are open for business!  Be sure to join in on the fun and help us celebrate by using the code LAUNCHPARTY for today only to take 10% off your online purchase!

Now let’s talk about this mustard yellow dress.  First, if you follow me on Instagram, then you know I am crushing hard on all things yellow, so it was no surprise that this mustard number had to be mine!  Second, it. has. pockets.  Yes, pockets! I’ve never met a dress with pockets that I didn’t like!  Third, I have this dress in black and it is the perfect LBD.  I love the idea of long sleeve dresses because it allows me to show some leg while remaining covered on top!  The length on these dresses are suitable for a variety of occasions.  I wore this yellow dress to work the other day with with black tights, leopard booties, and a black blazer and I wore the black one to a wedding reception with nude strappy sandals and lots of gold accessories and bling!

This yellow, blue, and gray blanket scarf might be one of my very favorite color combos because there’s no hiding my love for yellow hues and shades of gray!  The tights and scarf paired great together and I threw on my denim jacket because it was super chilly yesterday morning!

The leaves are changing colors, the air is crisp in the morning, the first trip to Bath & Body Works for a 3-wick Mahogany Teakwood candle has been made, and now the blanket scarf has made its debut!  I love that this particular blanket scarf has pops of pink in the plaid pattern (say that 3 times fast!) and that it’s a different take on the traditional, Zara-famous blanket scarf from 3 years ago!  I tend to wear more pink than red, so this cozy number is the perfect addition to my Fall wardrobe!

You know what else is a Fall/Winter wardrobe staple??? A perfectly fitted black faux leather jacket!  I am slowly but surely adding the color black into my wardrobe and this jacket is great because the fit is on-point.  It’s cropped (but not teeny bop cropped), has snug sleeves (no bagging here!), is adorned with subtle zipper accents, and has some amazing shoulders, which is all super flattering!  And for under $100, you can’t go wrong!

Baby, it’s still cold outside! Like a high of -2 tomorrow… Hence this gorgeous navy and green plaid blanket scarf!  This scarf is so warm and cozy.  But, I must admit… I have not quite mastered the “wear the blanket scarf the right way so you don’t look like you are being suffocated by a ginormous plaid comforter” look, so in an effort to not look disastrous, I opted to use the scarf as a wrap!  And you know I had to mix and match with this navy gingham button-down… I mean, it speaks to me!  Add a pop of leopard, a great fitting high-waisted jeans, and an amazzzzing statement necklace = instant winter chic! PS… stay tuned for an Instagram giveaway coming your way on Friday and you can win this exact blanket scarf from SoCal Gems!

Oh and did you spy an amazing “maid for plaid” watch??? I couldn’t help but wear it with this outfit!  You can never have too much plaid, right? Duh!
