I’m SOLE Serious…

I take my foot wear very seriously and happy feet are a must in my book!  But I find it easy to write off those tender heels and arch aches and chalk it up to the mentality that beauty is pain.  Well after too many killer heels (literally and figuratively), I’ve decided to get smart and serious about my foot care!  Through the blogosphere and IG, I had heard a lot of positive reviews about Solemates and their thorough line of foot care products.  So I figured I would try as many as I could and maybe like one or two… because who ever really loves every single product??? Well let me tell you, I did and I do!  Holy moly, these products really do work.  And well, to boot! <— So punny, I know 🙂

Solemates Complete Collection

You know when you are dressed to the nines in your favorite summer party dress and an adorable pair of strappy heels? And you are feeling fierce girl! Then you realize that not only is it an outdoor wedding, but that you (in your heels) have to walk what seems to be a mile on grass to get to your seat.  And with every step you take, your heels sink deep into the dewy ground.  You get to your seat and your worst fears are confirmed, you have about 3 inches of mud and dirt on your precious party heels!  Sure, if they’re patent then they’ll just wipe off, but what if they’re not?! Not only does your fierce attitude and confidence plummet, but your absolute favorite pair of heels are ruined!  This has happened to me one too many times and I am happy to say it never will again thanks to Solemates and these super smart, functional, and sleek heel caps that prevent you from sinking into the grass!

Solemates Shoe Buff

I don’t know about you, but I am tough on my shoes.  Especially those few pairs that I wear 2-4x a week (umm hello nude heels, I am talking to you!), and I love a product that gives me even more wear and longevity!  This shoe buff is super convenient thanks to it’s little handy-dandy holder, and works like a charm.  I had it in my purse last week and I am so happy I did because right before heading into an awards banquet dinner, I looked down at my shoes to see that they were in desperate need of some TLC.  I was so relieved to have my shoe buff in my tote and after just a few swipes, my kicks were looking refreshed and rejuvenated!

Solemates Leather Protector

We spend good money on our shoes and handbags and you can be darn sure that I will do everything I can to ensure that they stay beautiful for years to come!  So I was quite eager to try the Solemates Leather Protector spray, seeing that winter is right around the corner (like snow this Friday people!) and I have a few leather goods that I needed to winterize.  Well I kiiiiiind of went to town because I literally sprayed everything with this!  My favorite gray leather Tory Burch satchel, a few other Kate Spade leather bags, and pretty much every pair of shoes I own.  This protectant can be used on shoes or handbags. Trust me when I say that it is imperative to protect your prized investments from rain, salt, snow, or sleet!  Just like we wax our cars to prevent rust and fading paint, we need to be sure to protect our closet staples.  This product works on Leather, Suede and even Fabric!

Solemates Blister Blocker

There is nothing worse than busting out a new pair of shoes and you are SO EXCITED to rock them all day just to find out that by 10am, you are suffering from some major blisters!  I absolutely hate breaking in shoes.  In fact, when I read reviews and it says “after you break them in, they’re great”…. Yeah, no thanks, I’ll pass.  I work hard for my money and therefor want the products I buy to work hard for me!  So in the event that those shoes you-just-had-to-have and refuse to take back because they are just too pretty, end up giving you the dreaded blister (or 5), have no fear because the Solemates Blister Blocker is here!  The Blister Blocker Anti-Friction Balm creates an invisible barrier to help prevent blisters. It glides on smoothly to bare feet without leaving any greasy residue. It’s amazing for breaking in new shoes or for preparing your feet for those particularly long days.

Thank you so much to Solemates for not only sponsoring this post, but for creating such wonderful products that keep our feet and footwear happy and healthy!  All opinions are my own.

Monogrammed Tote Giveaway!

Hey gals and Happy Monday! How was everyone’s weekend?  We had gorgeous weather here this past weekend with the leaves changing colors and are slowly beginning to fall.  The mornings and evenings have a chill in the air, but the afternoons have been sunny and warm, which is the perfect opportunity to head to my favorite outdoor spot to do some blogging! And when I head out the door, I tend to throw my entire life into a large purse, but there is never enough room for my laptop! And since I often blog & do blog business from coffee shops and hidden outdoor gems, I knew I needed to step up my tote game.  Enter this seriously fabulous large tote bag from Veeshee!  This online store is SO cool because each piece is completely customizable, made perfectly just for you!  I opted for the Bogatta Bag in black linen with camel leather and an inside leopard print lining! And you know I had to throw a monogram on there 🙂

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I change my handbags almost daily, and I always get asked how I manage to do this before work everyday??? The trick is to compartmentalize all your key essentials into smaller bags.  This allows for me to simply grab the smaller bags and my wallet and simply toss in my purse of the day! It just so happened that I was in major need of a new little bag, so I picked out the Kato Cosmo Bag in a Black & Tan Ikat print with matching leopard lining on the inside, just like my tote! The Kato Cosmo Bag is big enough (and has an inside pocket) so I can fit all of my lip glosses, concealers, travel lotion, headache medicine, bandaids, travel toothbrush & toothpaste, and floss!

Never heard of Veeshee? No problem, let me fill you in!  At Veeshee, they make it easy to choose your own fabrics, patterns, and leather and each piece is made on-demand in their Athens, GA facility… That’s right, handmade in the USA!  As I can see (and you will too), the quality is top-notch and each unique product is made with care.  The magic starts when you first visit the online design studio, and from there you are guided through the step by step process.  It’s incredibly easy, and fun, to create custom bags and monogrammed baby gifts, choosing from luxurious fabrics to create something you’ll cherish for years to come.

And because I know Mondays can be rough and tough, I have teamed up with the gals from Veeshee to bring you the opportunity to win a one-of-a-kind, unique, and totally customizable bag!  Just head over to my Instagram (@sarasab) to enter!

Can’t wait to see if you are the winner and want to get your bag today? No prob! Use code SABBYSTYLE for a 10% discount on your custom pieces!

Flirty in Floral & Short Locks…

I can’ tell you the last time I felt this free and light and it’s all in part to my new, short locks and this darling floral dress!  I’ve been holding onto my long locks for so long now that I really felt (super) ready to chop-chop and sport a new look.  Even my hair gal aka the Hair Whisperer, was hesitant to cut it short so after two visits, she finally was like okay, let’s do it! She did such an amazing job with the cut and we added some lighter, blonder pieces, too.  I feel summer ready!  In fact, I used to have to re-style my hair a few times through out the day and with this shorter cut, I haven’t had to do that once.  Not once! Ahh, I’m a happy camper!

And you know what else makes me happy? Easy, breezy dresses that you can throw on and feel instantly good… well, girlfriends, meet this floral number from Juliana’s Boutique!  The fabric is so light and soft, and it drapes so effortlessly.  Also, I love that it has the off-the-shoulder look along with straps! For ladies who have bigger chests, this was made for us.  And the straps are adjustable so it’s a great fit for all!  I went with a size Small and it runs a bit loose for that boho vibe!

Rips + Blonde Tips…

Helllloooo gals and happy Fri-Yay!  The weather this week has been completely dreary, rainy, stormy, and quite gloomy but last weekend, the sun was a’shining and I knew I had to wear this beautiful floral top!  I wore it with dark denim and flats to my coworker’s baby shower Saturday morning then opted for these ripped jeans and nude heels for a day-date with Tone.  I’m all about that bass, bout that bass… bout them ripped jeans!  Like. I. Can’t. Stop. Buying. Them.  And when they are under $45 bucks, you just can’t say no.  And it’s no surprise I’m wearing my TAudrey Sabby Style Bracelet Set!  This set comes with three bracelets but sometimes I go for a simple stack and wear the gold initial plate solo.  This is just another testament to how versatile and lovely this set is.  Be sure to use the code sabbystyle10 at check-out to get yourself a sweet discount treat!

Saturday Coffee + New Hair!

Hi friends and happy Saturday! How was everyone’s week? I hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday and that you were able to spend lots of time with your loved ones!

PIT //  I was home sick from work all day Monday with a horrible migraine which resulted in me getting sick all day 😦 It was awful.  I literally slept all day.  I rarely get these kind of crippling migraines, but when I do, I am down for the count.  Thankfully I was feeling better by Tuesday!  Though now I have an ear ache and I’m praying I don’t have to go to the Dr.!  Fingers crossed it doesn’t get any worse!

PEAK // Ya’ll, this girl is getting her hair did next week! Why is that my peak of the week? Well because I finally came to the realization that I need a style once and for all! I’ve been rocking the long dark locks for many a years now, but I’ve never really had a signature style.  Sure, I can “style” my hair a few different ways and it cooperates pretty easily, but I am at the point now where I don’t have any new tricks up my sleeve and I need a change!  I plan to go with a LOB and do some fun color!  Thanks to my girlfriend Nat, over at Noted Boutique, who always has the most gorgeous hair and she has shared her genius hair guru with me and I can’t wait!  Here are some ideas of what I’m thinking… Stay tuned!

Let me know what you girls think of my “new” hair and if you have any suggestions or pictures of ideas, send them my way!!! Cheers to a new do!

a Little Shirt & a Big Skirt

Hey gals and happy Thursday!  I can’t believe it’s already Thursday… the week flew by! Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and healthy vibes via IG when I shared that I was at-home sick from work on Monday!  I am on the mend and have had quite the busy-bee week!

So how gorgeous is this floral skirt?  It. Is. Everything.  The fit is flirtatious and fun and the floral print is stunning!  I will be wearing it all season long and right on into the warm summer months.  It has a light weight fabric which allows for a breezy (literally and figuratively) look!  PS, IT’S UNDER $21!!!  For this ensemble, I knew I had to pair the skirt with these darling pastel pumps and this super cute Little Black Shirt tee from Le Boutique Shop!  And the perfect accessory? This rose gold chain bib necklace, a bold lippie, and a great arm stack!

Cozy Comfy in Stripes…

Hi lovely ladies!  Let’s cut to the chase and talk about just how soft, cozy, and cute this stripe tunic is!  At first when I saw the price tag (it’s Anthro… it comes with the territory) I was a bit like “oh hell no, there’s now way I’m spending that much on a top”… BUT THEN I TRIED IT ON.  That was a mistake but you better believe it came home with me!  You girls know I am budget-conscious and only splurge when something really speaks to me and I know I will get many wears & years out of it.  Which is why once this soft little number was on my bod, it was clear that this classic striped tunic with a great V-neck cut and darling hemline was sure to become a closet staple!  I’m new to the Anthropologie world (I blame my previous teeny-tiny budget while in Grad school) but good gosh, I am obsessed with there buttery soft tops and their summer cotton dresses are perfection.  I hope they have  a sale soon! *fingers crossed*

Saturday Coffee // Easter Shopping

Good morning friends and Hoppy Saturday!  Spring is in the air and this is such a beautiful time of year.  There is a sense of renewal and the earth is just about to bloom!  I love celebrating Him with my family and celebrating the life He gave for us.  My favorite tradition is watching the Ten Commandments movie.   It is such a strong and powerful depiction of Moses’ story and his unwavering trust in the Lord.  It has been a personal goal to stay  committed to my daily bible study, so this year, more than ever, I feel blessed, thankful, and knowledgable about this holiday and what the true meaning of Easter is.

Now let’s hop to it and share the Pit and Peak of the week!

PIT //  Tony and I were in a car accident last Saturday night and it was scary!  Thankfully there weren’t any major injuries, aside from Tony having to go to physical therapy for a sore neck.  And his truck should be fixed soon!  But having to deal with insurance, getting a rental car, sharing a car for a few days, and having things up in the air is frustrating and an inconvenience.  It’s just one more thing to add to an already busy plate.  But the most important thing is that both parties walked away and it’s just a reminder to be a defensive driver!

PEAK // Three words… Three. Day. Weekend!  And you know what I did with my day off? I did a major closet overhaul and have a ton of darling items (new and gently used) to list in my Instagram closet! I love, love, LOVE spring cleaning (well cleaning anytime, really) to refresh and make room for new!  So, if you’re in the market for some amazing deals, hop on over to @sarasabscloset and shop your heart away!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a Happy Easter, God Bless!
