Cozy Pink Sweater + Giveaway!

Hi sister-friends and happy Friday!!!  How was everyone’s week? Ours was super busy-bee with work events and we had our first snow fall!  Yes, you are reading that right.  And it also rained cats and dogs, hailed golfballs, and we had lightening strike our neighbor’s tree.  Yeah, super bizarro weather!

Anywho, it’s no secret that I love every single shade of pink, so when I saw this super cozy pink sweater from Chicwish, I seriously couldn’t resist!  It is such a pretty shade of pastel pink and it has that over-sized feel without looking like you’re wearing a potato sack.  And not only are blush tones very in for Fall & Winter, this little number will transition flawlessly into Spring.  Making it the perfect addition to any outfit on those cool April days! I paired it with this darling tee and super adorable (and comfy!) booties from Peter Pyper and my favorite pair of light-wash ripped jeans.  It was a casual yet chic outfit for a coffee date in Dundee with Michelle and Heidi!

Speaking of floral tee and booties, I am hosting a giveaway on Instagram with Peter Pyper to bring one lucky lady the chance to win their choice between the tee or the shoes!  Head on over and join in on the fun!!! (@sarasab)

The Cold Shoulder…

Heyooo and happy Friday Eve to you! How is everyone’s week going? Things have been crazy around here with wedding planning underway and we’re getting back into the thick of things at work with our events, plus we are less than two weeks away from the GIRLS NIGHT OMAHA Sip n’ Shop event!  The turnout and show of support for this event has been incredible, and truly humbling.  We sold out of 120 tickets in less than one week! I am so excited to meet all my Omaha gals and talk style with them! It is a passion of mine to encourage every woman to find their personal, unique style that makes them feel good and to create friendships and bonds that empower one another!

This olive green cold shoulder top is sheer perfection (it’s not really sheer, prom prom) and the color makes my skin glow! It not only is a great piece for summer because of the light weight fabric, but will be a dear to layer and pair with a fitted blazer this fall.  I opted for bright accessories and love the play of the earthy shades with neon and floral print! The top, jeans & clutch are from Four Sisters Boutique, which is a fabulous local store in Omaha, so check it out pronto stat!

Flirty in Floral & Short Locks…

I can’ tell you the last time I felt this free and light and it’s all in part to my new, short locks and this darling floral dress!  I’ve been holding onto my long locks for so long now that I really felt (super) ready to chop-chop and sport a new look.  Even my hair gal aka the Hair Whisperer, was hesitant to cut it short so after two visits, she finally was like okay, let’s do it! She did such an amazing job with the cut and we added some lighter, blonder pieces, too.  I feel summer ready!  In fact, I used to have to re-style my hair a few times through out the day and with this shorter cut, I haven’t had to do that once.  Not once! Ahh, I’m a happy camper!

And you know what else makes me happy? Easy, breezy dresses that you can throw on and feel instantly good… well, girlfriends, meet this floral number from Juliana’s Boutique!  The fabric is so light and soft, and it drapes so effortlessly.  Also, I love that it has the off-the-shoulder look along with straps! For ladies who have bigger chests, this was made for us.  And the straps are adjustable so it’s a great fit for all!  I went with a size Small and it runs a bit loose for that boho vibe!

Floral Dress (under $40!) c/o Juliana’s Boutique // Heels (sold out) but awesome pairs here and here // Pineapple Necklace (not online yet) c/o TAudrey Jewelry (sabbystyle10) // Clutch (sold out) but love this option // Watch (I wear it all the time!) // White Bangle // Gold & Silver Spike Bracelet // Earrings

Thanks so much for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Feelin’ Flirty in Floral…

Hi loves and happy Monday!  How was everyone’s weekend??? Mine was delightful for many reasons but I am so excited to debut some photos brought to you with our new 50mm lens!  It. Is. A. Game. Changer.  It put a major pep in my step, so I couldn’t help but feel fun and flirty in this floral sweatshirt!  I love the way the beautiful pattern popped against my white jeans (and white jeans that actually fit well and aren’t see-through, heyooo)!  In my opinion, this is a quintessential spring look and it was perfect for an easy-does-it weekend day-date with Tone!  I opted for subtle, dainty jewels like this gorgeous necklace from T+J Designs and my favorite arm party pieces!

My Love For Color [March Faves]

Hey lovely ladies! Can you believe it’s already Thursday and that the month of March just flew by?  Time goes way too fast (unless it’s monday, then time goes awfully slow) and I hate it!  I swear the older I get (not a whiny “oh I’m old”) the quicker the days, weeks, months, and years just zoom on by! It honestly makes me sad because a.) I am getting older and b.) time is so precious.  It is such a great reminder to not wish away this phase and time of my life and to appreciate where I am, right now.

Speaking of time passing by rather quick, March was here and gone in a hott minute but what it did bring was sunshine and warm temperatures!  I, therefor, had to bust out my brightest colors and most favorite prints to celebrate Spring arriving and a season of renewal!

But First… Coffee + IG Lately

Hello friends! How was everyone’s week? I apologize for the lack of blog posts these past few days!  I. Was. Exhausted.  I needed a week to decompress and recover from our Gala last Saturday (which was super successful, btw and thanks so much for your kind words and well wishes!) and getting some things crossed off my long overdue to-do list!  That being said, I am soooooo happy it is the weekend and a normal weekend, at that!  I plan to spend lots of quality time with Tone and the pups, have a lazy morning in bed with multiple cups of coffee, doing some much needed grocery shopping, and of course, shooting some bloggity blog photos!

PIT // Even though we are grateful that Roger’s diabetes diagnosis is manageable and treatable, these vet trips and subsequent bills are getting outrageous!  I would spend zillions of dollars on my dogs, like legit, I would, but good gosh there has to be a break soon!  But I am reminded just how lucky we are that we have the means to give him a long and healthy life, so the complaining bus stops right here!  If I have to not buy that pair of shoes or those white distressed jeans I’ve been eyeing, then so be it!

PEAK // Hearing so many lovely words of praise and support that our Team received after a successful fundraising event.  You guys, I am so very blessed to work with such a talented and incredibly intelligent and cool group of women that inspire and drive me every day.  The customer experience of our guests was 110% percent and people so generously poured their hearts and pockets out to support the amazing programs and services that our agency provides!  If you want to learn more about Heartland Family Service, click here! I am on the Community Relations Team and have to give so much credit and praise to those who work directly with our clients to help them create the path to a better tomorrow!

Because this last weekend was spent working away/recovering and this week was all about regrouping, I didn’t get a chance to shoot any blog photos, so I am sharing what’s new on the ole Instagram feed and my daily looks from this past week!

31 Bits… Doing {SO} Much Good.

Hello ladies and Happy Wednesday to you all!  I was honored to be approached by the company 31 Bits to collaborate and share their amazing jewelry that has an even better mission! 31 Bits accessories are carefully crafted by hand by artisans in Uganda. Every detail was thought through and every piece tells a story because it was made by a real person. Through employment and education, the 31 Bits artisans are rising above poverty and learning to dream for their future. This means every 31 Bits purchase has an impact and helps build more moments that matter.  31 Bits was founded in 2008 by five college friends, and has grown from empowering 6 Ugandan women to over 170!  So needless to say, I was delighted to style this beautiful necklace and share in the empowerment of women, near and far!

AND 31 Bits is offering my readers a very special discount code (SABBY15, valid until 12/12), so you, too, can be a part of this important mission!

Fall Florals + a Gordmans Coupon!

Howdy GalPals! Today I am so excited to be able to share with you this darling floral top and a coupon code so you, too, can claim this as your own. I have teamed up with Gordmans to be a style ambassador, which entails shopping their Misses line and bringing you affordable fashion! I chose this floral top because, a.) I love prints, b.) I love florals, and c.) I don’t normally wear the color red, so for those reasons, this top represented a fun look with a fresh take, for me to try out!

I think some ladies automatically associate the floral trend with spring and summer seasons, but a floral pattern can transition with ease into fall; especially with deep hued red flowers on a black canvas, as seen here! I opted to pair this floral number with boyfriend jeans, leopard print heels, gold jewelry, and this lovely leopard tassel necklace! Speaking of tassel necklace, if you have not yet discovered my dear friend Paige’s company, Style This Life, then you are in for a treat, because her price points are on-point (pun totally intended) and the quality of her jewelry is top-notch. Not to mention she’s a joy to work with and I love supporting small businesses!

Now make sure you take advantage of this coupon to be used at your local Gordmans store and thank you all so much for swinging by SabbyStyle today!
