Hi gals and happy Tuesday! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just two days away??? Where the heck did this month go? Though I hate how fast time passes by, I am pretty darn excited to eat my face off on Thursday and to begin decking our halls for Christmas! I used to be quite the shopping procrastinator (like Christmas Eve) when it came to finding the perfect gifts for my loved ones. And after a few hectic experiences and swearing to myself I would never wait to the last minute again, I have finally got my buns in gear to get my shopping done early! I have the most adorable mom and sister, plus some pretty fabulous galpals, so I created this gift guide with them in-mind. Most everything you see here is under $50, plus free shipping! I can’t get over those emoji earrings (like hello, perfect for your favorite social media lovin’ lady in your life) and those black booties are under $75! Not to mention those darling accent pillows and glitter stemless wineglasses are not only darling, but inexpensive and ideal for a cozy homebody and/or wine lover!
It’s probably no secret that I have an affinity for all things pink, ripped jeans, snakeskin heels, peplum tops, big sunglasses, and some pretty bomb.com jewelry. This outfit combines my fashion favorites and I seriously can’t get enough! I pulled this outfit together on a whim and really like how it all came together. And want to know why and how I did that??? Well with the bling! The jewelry is the literal icing on the cake! This gorgeous Michael Kors necklace is the definiton of frosting! I was beyond excited to partner with Michael Kors to help launch their Holiday 2015 Jewelry Line and I couldn’t be more ecstatic with how seriously fabulous each piece is. The silver mesh-like chain and sparkling Swarovski crystals make this necklace a cut above the rest with just enough dazzle for any occasion!
This collection may be deemed “holiday” but let me stress that these necklaces, earrings, and bracelet can be worn beautifully all year long!
Girly Meets Glam is how I would describe these mesh and crystal earrings! And I knew they would be the perfect accessory for this look that featured a flirty hemmed pink dress and my cropped black moto jacket! Just enough cool girl edge while remaining true to my pink-loving and colorful self!
The matching mesh gold and Swarovski crystals necklace and bracelet brought instant polish to an otherwise casual (and very Fall-esque) outfit of a plaid shirt and cozy sweater! You gals know that I always rock a very stacked wrist, and this bracelet might be the perfect addition to my collection. I’ve been wearing it every day! I mix and match it with my other favorite bracelets and my favorite two-toned boyfriend watch. When in #ootd doubt? Throw on the biggest sunnies you own, grab your favorite bag, and top it all off with some serious bling, bling!
The juxtaposition of mesh & metal paired with delicately placed stones allows this necklace to be styled in a thousand different ways. As you can see, there is nothing “holiday party” about these looks. In fact, these are outfits that can be worn all year round and for a variety of occasions! That is why I stand behind jewelry investment pieces because they truly are timeless, of the highest quality, and never go out of style. (<— Having a T-Swift moment right here)!
Thank you to Michael Kors for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own!
Hey sisters and happy Friday! Today I’ve rounded up my recent, and most popular, IG posts to answer your questions, provide sizing info, and link exact and similar items for each look! You’ll also notice that many of these pieces are ones that I wear on a constant rotation. And that is because I’m a firm believer in low cost-per-wear and getting the most bang for my buck! Be sure you are following along on Instagram (@sarasab) for my daily outfits and get your email registered over at LiketoKnow.it where you can shop my Instagram looks directly through your email!
This. Dress. I can’t even express how much I love it. Seriously, the cut and fit are super flattering (I’m wearing a size Small, fyi). The length is definitely work appropriate, but the ruffle hem adds that pop of fun & flirty that you should look for. Who says work wear has to be dull and boring?! Plus the spotted print in black and white makes it a classic piece yet can be paired with a ton of different accessories!
You know I love a heavy stack of bracelets, and when I found these beauties from Bauble Boutique, I was in heaven. The price points are oh-so reasonable and the quality is fantastic. I wear them literally everyday! Be sure to use the code Sara20 for a discount treat!
You had me at faux suede and elbow patches! Suede, faux or real (I prefer faux), is totally in this Fall and I most certainly jumped on that band wagon. This skirt is the perfect shade of brown and the button detail gives it a little pizazz that I look for in otherwise basic pieces. [NOT PICTURED]… This sweater has faux suede elbow patches. And they match perfectly with my skirt! Match made. Life made. I threw on these mules and my favorite striped satchel to keep it feeling fresh!
I can’t say I own a pair of Loubs… yet, but I know I would love to Love, Loubs, oh and Lattes! How cute is this tee? It’s from my favorite boutique, Le Boutique Shop. It is definitely more form-fitting and I am wearing a size XL for a more looser fit. Don’t have a pink blazer? Get one! This jacket added instant chic to a basic b ensemble.
Every girl should own a LBD and this little number takes the cake because it has pockets! And I am a believer in not showing it all (unless it’s 100 degrees out) so I love it when a shorter length dress has long sleeves. I will be pairing this dress with tights, leopard booties, and a utility vest in the coming weeks as the temps start to cool down. Not to mention how fab my neon yellow bag will look with this dress and a pair of OTK boots!
Remember what I just said, about not showing it all? Well this past weekend it was gorgeously warm and in the high 70s during the day, but definitely cooled down as the sun set. We were headed to afternoon HH and I didn’t hesitate to bust out the jean shorts one more time. But realizing that we are in-fact in Fall, I opted for this cream jacquard sweatshirt to balance out the bare legs. Add gray accessories and my go-to monogram necklace = instant day-date attire!
I hope you find these IG Recap posts to be helpful and please never hesitate to reach out with any questions about outfits, sizing, etc!
Hello ladies and Happy Thursday! I am SO SORRY for being delinquent with my blog posts but I am FINALLY getting into a groove and promise some consistency will be coming to you soon… like starting NOW!
Anywho, let me just say that I love, love, love these bright and fun, printed cropped pants that I scored on major sale at Gap! At first, I had no clue how I would style them or how they would become work appropriate. But, I wasn’t going to let a little color and pattern scare me away… because color and prints make me happy! The weather here in NE is finally cooperating and was in the mid 80’s and sunny today so I felt that keeping it simple with this white lace cotton tee was the way to go! I brought a light weight gray cardi with me to work so I could throw that over my shoulders for meetings and such, but I think I was able to dress this outfit up enough with some metallic sandals and my go-to candy-colored statement necklace; that this look transitioned nicely to a spring/summer ensemble!
Now let’s talk Deets! I have been obsessed with mixing metals, as of late, and this stack was no exception! Three places you MUST check out, like immediately: Antebellum Baubles, Paige at Style This Life, and Luxe Craving. And it doesn’t matter that I own about twenty watches, I still wear this trusty gold Fossil watch on the daily!
I also want to share a little news with you all! I have teamed up with Sarah from Sew Sarah R and Kate from For the Love of Fancy, to bring you Friday Frills Link-Up! We are so excited to start this fun and exciting journey together and we hope that you all will join us! Mark your calendars and stop by one of our blogs every Friday to link-up your favorite blog posts/outfits from the week!
Thank you so much for stopping by and showing some love to this little blog of mine! It means SO much to me! Have a fabulous day, my friends!
Hi dears and Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! On Saturday, I wore this amazing necklace that BTB (Bring The Bling) Jewelry so kindly sent my way. It. Is. Everything. I mean, the colors are so pretty and with a little added bling; this number is sure to be on heavy rotation! You can get your hands one by just clicking here!
In other news, this adorable top from Old Navy is now on sale and I would highly recommend it! Side note: I am currently obsessed with these 7FAM high-waisted, flare jeans that I scored on super sale from Von Maur!
Now lets chat about the most amazing armparty that has ever graced my wrist! If you have not yet checked out Antebellum Baubles, Luxe Craving, and Style This Life; well then you are living under a rock and need to get your buns in gear! I love the versatility of these pieces and who said you can’t wear gold and silver together? It’s my fave combo!
Thank you to all of you who have asked how my new job is going and I am so happy to report that I am SO happy! I honestly could not be more blessed and thankful for this opportunity. I work with an amazing team and our event planning and fundraising efforts allow our agency to serve our community! Thank you for stopping by and hanging in there with me while I make this transition and adjust to a new (and very busy) schedule! I promise, good things are coming 🙂
Hello gals and Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week and that it was productive, happy, and healthy! So apparently I have a thing for coral hues and pencil skirts because I wore that look three times in a row! I just couldn’t help myself. Many of you had asked where I got all of my items and I try to answer the best I can on IG, but sometimes I miss a comment here and there or don’t have the time to write out every detail, so I am breaking down each look and linking up all of the deets!
I hope you ladies have a great weekend and thank you for all of your love and support! Stay beautiful my friends!!!
Hello loves! Today I am doing a product review for the company N Side a Diva’s Closet and I am happy to report that I love all of the products they so kindly sent me!
These mint and neon yellow earrings are pretty much everything! I am always leery about large, statement earrings because I dislike heavy pieces that pull down on my little lobes and I end up having to take off half-way through the night. These definitely make a statement but did not once feel uncomfortable or heavy! I paired them with neon yellow pumps, camo skinny jeans, a deep-v draped black blouse, a dainty gold necklace, and a cream and gold Jimmy Choo clutch! It was one of those nights where everything came together so effortlessly! And of course I forgot to snap a pic 😦 I am going to have to recreate it again soon!
As of late, I have been drawn to dainty bangles and bracelets (it all started with my first Alex & Ani purchase!) so I was eager to receive this particular piece. Also, I have super duper small/skinny wrists and this particular bracelet was just the right size for me! I love the gold and yellow/amber stone and I think it will pair nicely with all of my go-to armcharm pieces!
LOVE! Gold, bling and the message of Love… what else could a gal need in one necklace? Don’t get me wrong, I love a large, bold and bright statement necklace, but sometimes, simple is best! I paired this necklace with a sideways cross necklace that Tony got me for Christmas two years ago (I wear it everyday!), a simple black v-neck tee, distressed denim and a pair of white patent leather pumps! It was just enough sparkle to add to my laid-back look while keeping the look simple and carefree!
Be still my heart. I love the coral and bright blue hues of this bracelet and it has the perfect amount of stretch which ensures a great fit for everyone! I wore this bracelet with neon peach boyfriend-esque pants from Gap, a cream sweater with neon paint-splatter details and nude bow heels. It added just the right amount of punch to my work look! These colors work marvelously together and would look great with many, many ensembles!
Thanks for stopping by and as always, your support and friendship truly means the world to me! Have a great day Gal Pals!
