Hi gals and happy Tuesday! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just two days away??? Where the heck did this month go? Though I hate how fast time passes by, I am pretty darn excited to eat my face off on Thursday and to begin decking our halls for Christmas! I used to be quite the shopping procrastinator (like Christmas Eve) when it came to finding the perfect gifts for my loved ones. And after a few hectic experiences and swearing to myself I would never wait to the last minute again, I have finally got my buns in gear to get my shopping done early! I have the most adorable mom and sister, plus some pretty fabulous galpals, so I created this gift guide with them in-mind. Most everything you see here is under $50, plus free shipping! I can’t get over those emoji earrings (like hello, perfect for your favorite social media lovin’ lady in your life) and those black booties are under $75! Not to mention those darling accent pillows and glitter stemless wineglasses are not only darling, but inexpensive and ideal for a cozy homebody and/or wine lover!
Hey gals and happy Thursday! I have to admit that I am not great about wearing vests. Like, I want to be a vest person so badly! And I admit that I have quite a few of them, but for whatever reason I just don’t seem to automatically reach for them when putting the finishing touches on my outfit. I think it partly has to do with that I am on the bustier side of life for my petite 5″2 frame, so the idea of adding layers (aka bulk) to my body doesn’t seem appealing!
However, life. changed…. Introduce this fabulous black vest/sleeveless trench! It is sleek, streamlined, and was made to compliment a woman’s body. The cut, even worn unbelted and open, is not large and baggy, but has a nice tailored look! Plus it’s 40% off, making it under $54! This is a classic closet staple that can transition from season to season quite seamlessly and it won’t ever go out of style!
I wanted to keep it casual so I opted for a basic striped tunic tee, black fleece lined leggings, the gray booties I wear all the time, and my very favorite reversible tote!
Black Vest c/o Pleione Clothing // Stripe Tunic // Leggings // Gray Booties // Gold Monogram Necklace – 3XL, 18in Chain // Turquouise Necklace // Earrings // Sunnies // Reversible Tote // Kate Spade Watch – under $50! // Bracelets c/o Bauble Boutique – use code Sara20 // Pink Lippie
Have a fabulous day, GF’s!
Hey you sexy thang you! I don’t about you, but I find myself wanting to do some shopping come Saturday morning, and that usually means online shopping from the comforts of my couch, fuzzy blanket, while watching trashy DVR shows, so today I’ve rounded up some great sale items I have my eyes on from Nordstrom.com! And guess what??? EVERYTHING IS UNDER $50!!! Happy Saturday!
Have an awesome weekend and be blessed & happy!
Hey sisters and happy Friday! Today I’ve rounded up my recent, and most popular, IG posts to answer your questions, provide sizing info, and link exact and similar items for each look! You’ll also notice that many of these pieces are ones that I wear on a constant rotation. And that is because I’m a firm believer in low cost-per-wear and getting the most bang for my buck! Be sure you are following along on Instagram (@sarasab) for my daily outfits and get your email registered over at LiketoKnow.it where you can shop my Instagram looks directly through your email!
This. Dress. I can’t even express how much I love it. Seriously, the cut and fit are super flattering (I’m wearing a size Small, fyi). The length is definitely work appropriate, but the ruffle hem adds that pop of fun & flirty that you should look for. Who says work wear has to be dull and boring?! Plus the spotted print in black and white makes it a classic piece yet can be paired with a ton of different accessories!
You know I love a heavy stack of bracelets, and when I found these beauties from Bauble Boutique, I was in heaven. The price points are oh-so reasonable and the quality is fantastic. I wear them literally everyday! Be sure to use the code Sara20 for a discount treat!
You had me at faux suede and elbow patches! Suede, faux or real (I prefer faux), is totally in this Fall and I most certainly jumped on that band wagon. This skirt is the perfect shade of brown and the button detail gives it a little pizazz that I look for in otherwise basic pieces. [NOT PICTURED]… This sweater has faux suede elbow patches. And they match perfectly with my skirt! Match made. Life made. I threw on these mules and my favorite striped satchel to keep it feeling fresh!
I can’t say I own a pair of Loubs… yet, but I know I would love to Love, Loubs, oh and Lattes! How cute is this tee? It’s from my favorite boutique, Le Boutique Shop. It is definitely more form-fitting and I am wearing a size XL for a more looser fit. Don’t have a pink blazer? Get one! This jacket added instant chic to a basic b ensemble.
Every girl should own a LBD and this little number takes the cake because it has pockets! And I am a believer in not showing it all (unless it’s 100 degrees out) so I love it when a shorter length dress has long sleeves. I will be pairing this dress with tights, leopard booties, and a utility vest in the coming weeks as the temps start to cool down. Not to mention how fab my neon yellow bag will look with this dress and a pair of OTK boots!
Remember what I just said, about not showing it all? Well this past weekend it was gorgeously warm and in the high 70s during the day, but definitely cooled down as the sun set. We were headed to afternoon HH and I didn’t hesitate to bust out the jean shorts one more time. But realizing that we are in-fact in Fall, I opted for this cream jacquard sweatshirt to balance out the bare legs. Add gray accessories and my go-to monogram necklace = instant day-date attire!
I hope you find these IG Recap posts to be helpful and please never hesitate to reach out with any questions about outfits, sizing, etc!
LOVE IS GREATER. Such a beautiful message. This raglan, off-the-shoulder, sweatshirt from Hello, Grace was created with the heart in mind. This particular saying is near and dear to my heart because for me, love is the most important gift we can not only give to others, but give to ourselves. And we aren’t stopping there! 10% of every sale is donated to Love Bought International. They are a Christian organization that is currently in the process of building an orphanage in Bogata, Columbia.
And because I LOVE ALL OF YOU, we are teaming up to give away a Love is Greater sweatshirt to one lucky lady! Head over to my Instagram, @sarasab, to enter!

Hi gals! How fun is this painted wall?!? Omaha has some seriously pretty sweet gems like these hidden all around town (well, the closer you get to downtown) and I knew this had to be the background when shooting this oh-so super duper cute pink dress from Chicwish! You know when you try something on and it feels like it was meant for you? Well that is how I feel in this dress. I personally prefer a high neckline (I don’t like my chest!) and this dress has just that. And the length is perfect because it off-sets the high neckline with the ruffle hem keeping it flirty and fun! It was chilly outside and I jumped on the chance to bust out this black jacket! I raved about it in this blog post, and I am still swooning.
Gun Metal Chain Earrings (available online on 10/28) c/o Michael Kors but very similar pairs here, here, and here // Dress c/o Chicwish // Sunnies // Black Faux Leather Jacket – size Small // Similar Black Booties & love this pair under $100 // Similar Clutch and this one under $50 // Lips ( 1 & 2)

Dream. Believe. Achieve. What a fabulous message! Things have been a bit cray cray around here [if you are new to this blog, quick update – our youngest dog, Roger, is diabetic and has developed cataracts in both eyes requiring major (ly expensive) surgery, my manfriend of 7.5 years and I recently got engaged, wedding planning, blog business & blog thangs blowing up (all good things!), my full-time job is super busy (life of an event planner!), and we are renovating our house] and I have been praying, praying, and praying some more for peace, balance, and the wisdom to make the right decisions for my family and future while following my dreams. So when I saw this light-weight sweatshirt, I knew it had to be mine and I knew I needed to share it with all of you!
This shirt was perfect for an afternoon downtown hanging with two very cool chicks because they both inspire and encourage me to Dream. Believe. and Achieve. They are creative, smart, funny, and kind and they fill my love tank up to the brim. Michelle (left) is my go-to photographer for all things blog and life, but to have Heidi there (on the right), shooting Michelle, shooting me, was so neat!
You know when you meet people and you have that “ah-hah moment” and you know that good things are happening and you are in the exact spot you were meant to be in at this phase in life? I had that moment last Sunday with these two. And my shirt says just that!
Top c/o Sheinside (under $18!) // Jeans (under $40!) // Mules (under $50!) // Coach Bag (old) but love this option // Watch (sold out online) but love this two-tone option for under $155 // Bracelet c/o Michael Kors // Sunnies (under $17!) // Gold Bib Necklace
Thank you so much for reading today and I hope you have a lovely day!
The leaves are changing colors, the air is crisp in the morning, the first trip to Bath & Body Works for a 3-wick Mahogany Teakwood candle has been made, and now the blanket scarf has made its debut! I love that this particular blanket scarf has pops of pink in the plaid pattern (say that 3 times fast!) and that it’s a different take on the traditional, Zara-famous blanket scarf from 3 years ago! I tend to wear more pink than red, so this cozy number is the perfect addition to my Fall wardrobe!
You know what else is a Fall/Winter wardrobe staple??? A perfectly fitted black faux leather jacket! I am slowly but surely adding the color black into my wardrobe and this jacket is great because the fit is on-point. It’s cropped (but not teeny bop cropped), has snug sleeves (no bagging here!), is adorned with subtle zipper accents, and has some amazing shoulders, which is all super flattering! And for under $100, you can’t go wrong!
Pink Blanket Scarf c/o Le Boutique Shop // Black Jacket // White Tee // Denim (super old) but love these // Gray Booties and these are awesome! // Baby Lips Pink Punch // Revlon Lip Stain Sweetheart // Earrings
Thanks so much for reading and have a fabulous day, galpals!
You guys, I am looooooving all things fringe, flare, and flannel this Fall! Say that three times fast. The 70’s are making a major comeback this season and I’m secretly loving it. I always joke with my parents that I was born in the wrong era because my favorite bands and music are straight out of the 60’s & 70’s! I love the pairing of plaids and flannels with high-waisted flare denim and do you know the cherry on top??? FRINGE! I love it. I’m definitely not hippie-dippie but I am dabbling in this trend!
And if you are hesitant about pulling the trigger on a pair of designer jeans, rest easy knowing that you can’t go wrong with high-waisted jeans. They are timeless, SO flattering, and are great in all four seasons! Think boots in the fall/winter and darling wedge platforms in the spring/summer! I prefer a medium to dark wash, as I find them to be versatile as they can be dressed up or down; great for a variety of occasions!
What are you girls loving this Fall? Thanks so much for reading and have yourselves an awesome day!
