Hi sister-friends and happy Friday!!! How was everyone’s week? Ours was super busy-bee with work events and we had our first snow fall! Yes, you are reading that right. And it also rained cats and dogs, hailed golfballs, and we had lightening strike our neighbor’s tree. Yeah, super bizarro weather!
Anywho, it’s no secret that I love every single shade of pink, so when I saw this super cozy pink sweater from Chicwish, I seriously couldn’t resist! It is such a pretty shade of pastel pink and it has that over-sized feel without looking like you’re wearing a potato sack. And not only are blush tones very in for Fall & Winter, this little number will transition flawlessly into Spring. Making it the perfect addition to any outfit on those cool April days! I paired it with this darling tee and super adorable (and comfy!) booties from Peter Pyper and my favorite pair of light-wash ripped jeans. It was a casual yet chic outfit for a coffee date in Dundee with Michelle and Heidi!
Speaking of floral tee and booties, I am hosting a giveaway on Instagram with Peter Pyper to bring one lucky lady the chance to win their choice between the tee or the shoes! Head on over and join in on the fun!!! (@sarasab)
LOVE IS GREATER. Such a beautiful message. This raglan, off-the-shoulder, sweatshirt from Hello, Grace was created with the heart in mind. This particular saying is near and dear to my heart because for me, love is the most important gift we can not only give to others, but give to ourselves. And we aren’t stopping there! 10% of every sale is donated to Love Bought International. They are a Christian organization that is currently in the process of building an orphanage in Bogata, Columbia.
And because I LOVE ALL OF YOU, we are teaming up to give away a Love is Greater sweatshirt to one lucky lady! Head over to my Instagram, @sarasab, to enter!
Hi girlfrans and happy Saturday! Okay, so Target has literally done it again when they unveiled these gorgeous bags! I mean. I can’t even deal. The colors are serious perfection and do you spy that Kate Spade inspired bow satchel? How is a gal suppose to say no? Yeahhhhh, I didn’t, oops! I snagged the faux croc tote and the darling pink cross body bag (upper right!). And can we talk about how chic those laser cutout wallets are? Good lawwwwd, Tarjay, you’re killing my budget! I WANT THEM ALL.
Moving on and talking myself off of the ledge from buying more…. I’ll share my pit and peak of the week!
PIT // When you give something your absolute best and leave nothing on the table, but then have someone doubt or question what you do and your progress. I’m all about feedback, constructive criticism, and learning opportunities (literally, my top Strengths Finder strength is “Learner”) but to have my capability and a year’s work called into question just hurts. But, I’ve learned that I am in control of my own happiness and I will continue to bust my buns and be the best me I can be!
PEAK // The nicest, sweetest lady at work that is on another floor, so I don’t see her too often, but tonight when I was sending out a mailing, she stopped me to tell me how much she looks forward to seeing my bright and colorful outfits and that it makes her happy! She even said that one day I was wearing neutral colors and she was worried something was wrong, ha! I love that my style speaks to my heart and personality and shines through when I don’t even expect it!
Thanks so much for reading today and have yourselves a fabulous weekend!
Hello loves and Happy Wednesday! It has been an emotional week thus far, so I haven’t been snapping any outfit pics and I am just not feeling like myself! I know everything happens for a reason, and I firmly believe that. It’s just takes time to process, come to terms with closing that door, and looking for other opportunities. This, too, shall pass!
So I thought I would recap and share some of my favorite March looks! PS, where did the month go? Cheers to April; a new month with new opportunities!
Also, don’t forget about the fabulous #springstylegiveaway that I am hosting with Bethany from Perfectly Coutured and Ashton from Ashton Wears Things! The lucky lady will win an Aldo striped tote, a crystal necklace from Bold & Stylish Accessories, and Essie’s Fashion Playground from the new spring line! Just click the Rafflecopter link below to enter! The winner will be announced Saturday!
Hello and Happy Friday ladies! I don’t know about you gals, but I sure do love to do a little shopping on Friday! So I thought it would be fun to round up some incredibly cute items that are all under $15!
Hello dears and Happy Tuesday! It feels so good to be back home, even though we had a blast in NYC! (lots of pictures to come!) I had a bunch of posts ready so I could just quickly publish them while I was away, but we were literally going 24/7 and I had zero energy to even get on the iPad! So let me share with you this little post that I had ready to go in honor of heading back to work tomorrow! PS, the weather here in NE is amazing and I am so excited to start wearing spring work-looks everyday!
I don’t know about you all, but I just love when an outfit comes together unexpectedly and you find yourself thinking; what did I do before I owned these items? Well that is exactly what I asked myself in regards to these flats! If you are not familiar with the Jcrew Factory Emery Bow Flats; please run, don’t walk, to your nearest location or computer and order yourself a pair pronto stat! I have bought countless pairs of flats that were oh so cute and majorly on-sale but would kill my feet after just a few short hours of wear. Which then results in me admiring them from a far as they sit and collect dust and eventually make their way into my IG closet where they will go to a loving home! So, I decided to take a gamble and throw a little investment money ($44 on sale) into a pair of shoes and I am so glad I did because I wear these bow beauties non-stop!
For this look, I was itching for some spring hues but needed layers to stay warm (no sign of warm weather here in Nebraska just yet!) so I went with these bright coral cords, anchor-printed chambray and a leopard cardi (all from Old Navy and all purchased on sale)! To tie it all together, I opted for this gorgeous Stella & Dot Carmen necklace, my go-to Phillip Lim for Target bag and, of course, these versatile bow flats!
Here are the other ways I have styled these feet-friendly shoes!
Happy Saturday and Happy first day of March! Though it is snowing and quite cold here in the Heartland, there is something about the flip of the calendar into a new month, and knowing that Spring is right around the corner, that makes this gray day a bit more bearable! I really wish I could get outside and have Tone take some pictures of me in my new favorite Spring pieces, but a.) I’m still in my jammies, b.) It’s snowing, and c.) I’m still in my jammies! So, I want to reminisce and take a walk down memory lane and show you gals some of my favorite looks and ensembles that I wore last year when warmer days were present and I had a tan!
Here’s a little preview of some new additions to my closet! I can’t wait to style these babies up; Spring Flow! Stay tuned!
