A Pretty Printed Scarf!

Hello GF’s! Let’s just dive right in and talk about how so super cute this scarf is from Le Boutique Shop?!? Ahh I can’t even. The plaid mixed with bright colors makes this print & color-loving lass quite happy! It is the perfect weight and can be worn so many different ways. It is not a true infinity scarf, but since I love that style, I usually do a loose tie at the ends and then tuck them behind my neck. I then loop the scarf around to achieve the infinity look! Or this scarf would be great as a wrap to add a touch of color to a somewhat basic ensemble! Kind of like it did to this number!

And I was finally able to snatch up this sweater that everyone has been rockin’ on IG! I was a good girl and waited until it went on sale and luckily they had my size! I love the menswear inspired vibe and paired with leggings and a great pair of leather booties, I felt like a cool kid 🙂

Mad for Mint… Intervention Please

I. Need. A. Mint. Intervention. Like whoa! Honestly, it’s getting redic. Not to mention a few minty J.Crew pieces that are on their way to me right now as I type this precious little post!

I mean I even bought this adorable plastic mason jar cup with matching mint straw. I’m telling you, I need help! Notice the nail polish color? I rest my case.

But if loving mint is wrong then I don’t wanna be right! I purchased these amazingly comfortable and versatile mint and nude BCBG wedges last year from TJ Maxx and today was day one of wearing them in 2014! I hope to find them in other colors this season so please let me know if you happen to spot them (I’m a size 5.5 or 6!) Another piece I was pumped to break out of the closet is this mint/navy/white floral clutch that I purchased last year at Target on major sale! It’s a great size because it allows me to carry more than just a cell phone and gum (I hate those small bags!) and it has a light tan ‘leather’ zipper which, if I may mention, coordinates wonderfully with my shoes. Don’t you just love it when that happens by-chance!

And I couldn’t stop there. Oh no. I threw on my new favorite accessory; this Ann Taylor mint and blue tassel scarf that has the most lovely print. I then opted for a casual blue brocade J.Crew tee and my go-to billowy-sleeved sweater. And we can’t forget the miracle pants! If you ever stumble upon Royalty by YMI Skinny Hyperstretch Pant, get them in every color and maybe even get two of each! I cannot speak more highly of these amazing pants. They are high-waisted and not extremely long (bonus for all of my fellow short gals out there) and have a wonderful stretch. I have them in black and a dark olive green (as seen here today) and I am totally kicking myself for not getting them in other colors when I had the chance!

And look what is hiding underneath my scarf? This gorgeous and very blingtastic necklace from Mindy Mae’s Market!

Hello dears! I would like for you all to pat yourselves on the back for making it through Monday! It was -4 on my drive to work this morning, yuck! Not to mention that I didn’t have an outfit planned, went to bed way too late and forgot my lunch! But, I’m very blessed and lucky that I enjoy my job and work with wonderful people so I really cannot complain tooooo much. But regardless, Monday’s are a sad, blah day and just a sign that the weekend went by way too fast and I didn’t get near as much done as I needed to! So, when I got home from work and had a package from Urbanite Jewelry waiting for me, my blasé tude turned right around! Can we please discuss how AMAZING this scarf is! I was just mentioning in my previous post that I have a mighty strong penchant for color and this scarf is ON THE MARK! Bright, bold hues paired with an interesting Aztec print = sorry, I’m not sorry that I will be wearing this scarf 24/7… just sayin’! Not to mention that it is the perfect match for my new bright blue satchel!

Let’s move on to this Jcrew-esque stunner that was also in that delightful little package! Now, I’m no stranger to the goodness that is Jcrew and all that it does, but sometimes, a gal cannot have all things Jcrew…enter fabulous inspired pieces by Urbanite Jewelry! Crystal statement necklaces are all the rage right now and this pretty gem is right up my alley!
