Hi sister-friends and happy Friday!!!  How was everyone’s week? Ours was super busy-bee with work events and we had our first snow fall!  Yes, you are reading that right.  And it also rained cats and dogs, hailed golfballs, and we had lightening strike our neighbor’s tree.  Yeah, super bizarro weather!

Anywho, it’s no secret that I love every single shade of pink, so when I saw this super cozy pink sweater from Chicwish, I seriously couldn’t resist!  It is such a pretty shade of pastel pink and it has that over-sized feel without looking like you’re wearing a potato sack.  And not only are blush tones very in for Fall & Winter, this little number will transition flawlessly into Spring.  Making it the perfect addition to any outfit on those cool April days! I paired it with this darling tee and super adorable (and comfy!) booties from Peter Pyper and my favorite pair of light-wash ripped jeans.  It was a casual yet chic outfit for a coffee date in Dundee with Michelle and Heidi!

Speaking of floral tee and booties, I am hosting a giveaway on Instagram with Peter Pyper to bring one lucky lady the chance to win their choice between the tee or the shoes!  Head on over and join in on the fun!!! (@sarasab)

[Spring] Must-Haves!

Spring Must-Haves
Hi gals and happy Monday!  Is anyone else struggling with this whole spring ahead aka loose an hour of precious sleep aka Monday comes that much sooner? I sure am!  Don’t get me wrong, I love that it will be light out longer and that it won’t be pitch black dark when I get off of work, but this gal really needs her sleep.  Hence why I was in bed by 9:00 pm last night!  I will adjust in a few days, but until then I might be at tad bit crabby and will be consuming copious amounts of coffee… You’ve been warned!
So today I thought I would share some SPRING MUST-HAVES that are most certainly affordable and will add just enough pop of floral & feminine to anyone’s style and wardrobe!  I will be pairing that floral tee with boyfriend jeans, a great pair of pumps, and my favorite structured white blazer!

Soft in Silver & Gray

Soft and cozy in this overly over-sized sweater was all I needed this past weekend when it was mighty chilly here in the O! It was a whoppin’ one degree on my way to work on Tuesday, good lord it needs to warm up like right now!  But a girl can dream, right?  Okay back to reality… and this sweater.  I was hesitant to wear it and actually didn’t know how the heck to style it because I have always been under the notion that small, petite gals should not wear larger, over-sized pieces.  So I was a bit baffled when I was getting ready to step out for some din din, but thought the skinny jeans and pointy-toe pumps streamlined the look and the high bun made for a fuss-less look!

And you know I had to add some major arm-charm to jazz it up along with this gorgeous silver-coin collar necklace from SoCal Gems!

PS, let’s quick chat about this TB bag.  If you are on the fence about whether to pull the trigger or not… Just. Do. It.  Seriously though.  I absolutely love this bag and am so happy that I saved up some moolah and bought it for myself!  The next time TB has a sale (I got it during their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale), jump on it because the leather is smooth as butter, the tassels are perfection, and the gold hard-ware topped with a triple zip makes for a must-have bag!

Feeling Like Myself: Stripes, Dots AND Pink

Hello GFs and happy Thursday to you all!  For the past month or two I haven’t felt much like myself and I couldn’t put my finger on it until I put this outfit on…. I have missed wearing bright and bold colors in my daily looks!  When Fall rolls around, we all bust out our pretty jewel-toned pieces, plaid shirts, and blanket scarves… Which I love! BUT, what really speaks to my heart and when I feel most like myself, is when I wear bright colors.  Pops of pink, neon, and lots of patterns inspire me and get me excited! I actually want to get out of bed and get dressed (which if you know me then you know I am not an early riser by nature) when I have a cheery and fun outfit waiting for me!  So as much as I love the coziness that Fall and Winter bring, the Spring and Summer seasons speak to my color-loving heart!

So speaking of pink… check out these stunner earrings from Bib Jewelry!  Holy gorgeousness.  I love the mix of darker purple, lavender, and light pink together and top it off with some bling!  They are medium weight, which will allow for longer wear and the best part…. the price point.  These beauties are only $5!!!  Yes, you read that right.  So needless to say this is a no-brainer!

[Winter Warmth]…Gingham + Plaid

Baby, it’s still cold outside! Like a high of -2 tomorrow… Hence this gorgeous navy and green plaid blanket scarf!  This scarf is so warm and cozy.  But, I must admit… I have not quite mastered the “wear the blanket scarf the right way so you don’t look like you are being suffocated by a ginormous plaid comforter” look, so in an effort to not look disastrous, I opted to use the scarf as a wrap!  And you know I had to mix and match with this navy gingham button-down… I mean, it speaks to me!  Add a pop of leopard, a great fitting high-waisted jeans, and an amazzzzing statement necklace = instant winter chic! PS… stay tuned for an Instagram giveaway coming your way on Friday and you can win this exact blanket scarf from SoCal Gems!

Oh and did you spy an amazing “maid for plaid” watch??? I couldn’t help but wear it with this outfit!  You can never have too much plaid, right? Duh!

Bootie Booty!

Hello and Happy Monday, GFs!  So it’s no secret that as soon as the hint of Fall is in the air, we go crazy over blanket scarves, chunky knits, and footwear!  And when I think Fall footwear, booties immediately come to mind.    I have no qualms with investing in staple pieces, especially boots and shoes, but sometimes, a girl wants lots and lots of pairs and when this occurs… you turn to Forever 21 for all of your shoe needs!  All of these are under $35 and may I say, Oh So Cute!  I’ll take one of each please 🙂  Have a great week and Happy Shopping, xo!

Hello, lovelies!  SO many of you gals have asked/inquired about my tan peep-toe booties that I got from Target a couple months ago!  I thought they were ‘in-stores’ only because I didn’t see them online a while back, but to my and our luck, they are online at and are ON SALE!!!

I purchased the cognac and black to round out my collection and to transition into cooler Fall temps with ease and style!

A Lace Maxi Dress + Friday Frills!

Hello loves and Happy Happy Friday!!! I don’t know about you, but ‘short’ work weeks may be the death of me!  Plus I had a horrible migraine yesterday so that didn’t help the day fly by.  Anyhoots, there is no need to complain because I am always reminding myself to be thankful for my great job, amazing family and friends, and am blessed with many opportunities!

On that note, let’s talk about a little blessing called Target.  This cream lace maxi dress was heaven sent!  I think it is a rare find when I encounter a dress that is figure flattering, a bit curve hugging but not so tight that I am afraid to eat/breath/move… you get the picture!  And not only was the cream maxi dress just right, I found another maxi dress during this Target trip that also fit the bill!  It is gray, black and coral stripe and is oh-so cute!  So the point of the story is to stop by your nearest Targ and take a looksie at their maxi dresses; you will not be disappointed!
